RESUINSA is proud to be an environmentally-conscious company. The textile industry can have many unfortunate effects on the environment and the communities they do business in. That’s why we do what we can to reduce our carbon footprint while still providing high-quality linen services.

STeP Certification
STeP, or Sustainable Textile Production, is an industry-backed certificate demonstrating our commitment to respect for the environment, to the health and safety or our employees, and our insistence on dignified working conditions.
Audited and issued by OEKO-TEX®️, the STeP certification aims to demonstrate a facility’s adherence to:
- Chemical Management
- Environmental Performance
- Environmental Management
- Social Responsibility
- Quality Management
- Occupational Health and Safety
These qualifications are applied to every stage of the textile manufacturing process. Spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing are all evaluated for adherence to these requirements. We are proud to say that, of the three levels of achievement available in the STeP program, we consistently score level 3, the highest level, which indicates “ideal implementation” of these regulations.
GOTS Certification
Where the materials come from to make textile products matter. Since 2006, GOTS (the Global Organic Textile Standard) has advocated for the development, implementation, verification, protection, and promotion of organic, natural fibers in the production of textiles. The GOTS certification means that no caustic treatments were present at any stage of production, that no toxic dyes were used, and that employees are treated with respect.
Fairtrade Certification
Global economies can overwhelm small, vulnerable farms and fields. Exploitation of their residents and resources happens regularly. The Fairtrade certification ensures that they are treated fairly and are paid a reasonable amount for their goods.
Plastic Reduction
Plastic is unavoidable in the linen industry. Shipping materials across oceans and continents exposes them to environmental and human factors that necessitate a waterproof layer. Though unavoidable, we are taking every step possible to mitigate our uses of plastic.
Through modifying our packaging system, we’ve reduced our annual use of plastic by 60%. And we’re not going to stop there. Because of the high standards that RESUINSA carries for their end-customer, we will be using 100% recycled bags inside our boxes for shipping to guarantee a crispy white product from the moment you open the box.
